How Do I Get Healed? When Jesus died on the cross, He bore all of our sins, sicknesses, and pains on His body. He paid the price for us so that we don't have to suffer. Healing is received just like salvation. You receive it by grace through faith. It isn't something we can earn through good works and even if we could, we don't need to do it. Jesus already paid the price. We simply need to receive it! Another point to note is that Christians should not be fighting to get healed. When we were saved, our spirit, soul and body was saved from sin and death. That means our bodies were healed 2000 years ago when Jesus died on the cross. What we need to be doing is protecting our health. The devil works overtime to try and get you to focus on the symptoms that are plaguing your body. But, you stand on the Word of God and say ...
"The Bible tells me that if I resist the devil he MUST flee therefore I resist you devil in the Name of Jesus and command you to go. I declare that I am healed, healthy and whole because of what Jesus did for me on the cross. In the Name of Jesus I bind the spirit of infirmity and command it to leave me right now. In the Name of Jesus I take authority over my body and command all sickness and disease <name the symptoms> to go right now. I command my body to get in line with the Word of God and function in the perfection that God created it to function in. I was healed 2000 years ago and I will not tolerate sickness, disease and pain to exist in my body. I declare that I will live and not die and declare the wonderful works of the Lord. Thank you Father that you said when we pray in faith, not wavering, You hear us and answer our prayers. I thank You for perfecting every detail concerning my health right now and for helping me to receive and maintain my healing and divine health. Amen (So be it!) !"
Devote time to studying and meditating on the healing verses because we were told in Proverbs that they are life and health to our bodies. Declare the verses over your body, out loud, because God told us we could have what we say and that life and death are in the power of the tongue.

Healing Confessions! The Bible tells us two important things about our mouths. First, our words have the power to bring life or death to us. That is why we must watch the words that we speak. Proverbs 18:21: "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it [for death or life]." (Amplified Bible) Second, God has told Christians (those who have a relationship with Jesus Christ) that they can have what they say as long as they are praying in line with God's Word and have unwavering faith. Mark 11:23-24: "Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him. For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it]." (Amplified Bible)
Please note that there is more involved than just saying something. In order for you to see results, you first have to have a solid foundation of faith in God's character and nature. If you don't really know God, you will have a difficult time believing the promises that He laid out in the Bible. Remember, Mark 11 said that the person doubts not. Be sure to get that solid foundation and develop a close relationship with God so that you can stand unwavering in faith and then see God's glory manifest in your life!
